To the Hospital: where and what
to bring
Where:
Victoria General Hospital
1 Hospital Way
Helmcken Rd.
(Exit 8 off Highway 1 which is Douglas Rd. from Victoria)
Labour & Delivery- 3rd Floor
What to Bring:
-
your preferred music and music player
-
camera and film (black & white is great!)
-
slippers (the floor is cold)
-
lip balm (sounds weird...trust me!)
-
your own pyjamas/bathrobe for after the birth
-
food for your partner/coaches
-
diapers and an outfit (or two) for the baby
-
sanitary pads
-
$12 for the parking meter-this will buy you a week's parking pass
-
your favorite pillow (the hospital's are really flat)
-
car seat for the baby (you don't need this right away, but you can't leave
the hospital without first showing the nurses you have one)
